# Connect your Pinterest account

Connect Pinterest to your Flowbox account

Connecting your **Pinterest** account to Flowbox allows you to collect content from a specific account or board and add it to Flowbox. This way you can also utilize all the amazing content you find on Pinterest in your Flows!

## Connecting Pinterest to your account

Via the settings of your account, you can easily connect your Pinterest account to Flowbox.

-   Click on the 'Settings' (cogwheel) menu in the lower-left corner to enter company settings.

-   Go to the 'Connected accounts' tab.

-   Click on the purple 'Connect' button and click on Pinterest.

Once Pinterest is connected, then you will be able to add [Pinterest as a source](https://kb.getflowbox.com/en/article/add-pinterest-as-a-source) to collect posts to your Flows and [publish posts to Pinterest](https://kb.getflowbox.com/en/article/publish-to-pinterest-from-flowbox-publish-10) as well.

## Configure permission

Sometimes the access\_token gets invalidated by the user. The generated token does not expire by default unless the access\_token gets invalidated by the user. A user password change will render a token invalid at which point the user will have to re authenticate with your App.
